An Exciting Update!

December 20, 2017

The Zebrafish lab is up and running, and students are able to start their research using a microinjector machine. Due to its precision, the microinjector allows students to study zebrafish in specific areas of the organism. This tool will advance students’ research on cancer, Lyme Disease, neurodegeneration, and other infectious diseases.

Decorative Habitat

Zebrafish need a decorative ambiance to inspire mating! Some items include artificial plants and pebbles.


Fish Food

Zebrafish thrive on a diet of brine shrimp in the morning and flake food in the evenings. Please help keep our Zebrafish healthy and happy!


Our First Zebrafish

Buying an initial batch of Zebrafish will allow us to get the breeding started! Both male and female.


Researchers Impacted

$350 = 1 for every researcher (undergraduate, graduate, and faculty) who will be impacted by this project.


Pumps, Filters & Tanks- Oh my!

To house our Zebrafish we need many supplies including: tanks, air pumps, filters, dividers and more!
