An Exciting Update!

December 20, 2017

The Zebrafish lab is up and running, and students are able to start their research using a microinjector machine. Due to its precision, the microinjector allows students to study zebrafish in specific areas of the organism. This tool will advance students’ research on cancer, Lyme Disease, neurodegeneration, and other infectious diseases.

Please take a look at the quick video below, as it shows the shows the process of injection.

Thank you for your help in making this initiative possible! We greatly appreciate your support.

A $65 gift equals the cost of the magnetic base for the microinjector.

A $100 donation will help us purchase a set of pipettes for the microinjector.

A $250 contribution will go toward the light installed in the microinjector.

A very generous donation of $850 is equivalent to the micromanipulator, a key part of the microinjector.
